Z-O-O and Mother's Day

For Mother's Day weekend we decided a trip to the zoo would be a special treat! It had to have been the best zoo trip that we've had so far and Kaelyn's first adventure! The animals were especially fun and the baby polar bear gave us a special treat of playing, diving, and splashing for a half-an-hour.

poor Chad...constant shoulder rides have become quite the hit...

H has loved animals his whole life...he was SO happy that day!

Lion ride?

THE most AWESOME polar bear of ALL time!  It was amazing...and he completely reminded me of Champ...tossed in his toy, chased after it, repeat.

I get to look at these three beauties everyday! So happy they inherited Chad's big blue eyes!

he's really into how "big" he is getting! Not quite ostrich height yet.

And for Mother's Day I was able to sleep in which was great, headed to the mall so I could pick out a gift, and enjoyed a nice evening BBQ with Chad's rents.  It was a wonderful day and especially special being it was my first Mother's Day as a Mom of two beautiful kids!  Love you Hunter and Kaelyn!
