Z-O-O and Mother's Day

For Mother's Day weekend we decided a trip to the zoo would be a special treat! It had to have been the best zoo trip that we've had so far and Kaelyn's first adventure! The animals were especially fun and the baby polar bear gave us a special treat of playing, diving, and splashing for a half-an-hour.

THE most AWESOME polar bear of ALL time!  It was amazing...and he completely reminded me of Champ...tossed in his toy, chased after it, repeat.

And for Mother's Day I was able to sleep in which was great, headed to the mall so I could pick out a gift, and enjoyed a nice evening BBQ with Chad's rents.  It was a wonderful day and especially special being it was my first Mother's Day as a Mom of two beautiful kids!  Love you Hunter and Kaelyn!

Easter Joy

The Easter Bunny arrived this spring and brought lots of “Easter Joy” as Hunter says to all of our family!  We kicked off our Easter weekend with a trip to U of M’s Museum of Natural History!  It was a big hit…Hunter loved checking out the fossils and ancient animals.  He managed to ask us to pronounce about every ancient animal name there which was quite entertaining!

Saturday we headed to the Saline Rec Center’s  annual Easter Egg Hunt.  Hunter rushed to get as many as he could. It was a full out charge with those 4-5 year old boys! Hilarious :)
