why twiddlebugs?

As I contemplated the name of this blog I decided upon 'two twiddlebugs' because the name represented my two beautiful kids, Hunter Robert and Kaelyn Noelle.  As I thought about what I wanted to blog about and share, the obvious answer was them.  Kaelyn and Hunter are absolutely the center of nearly every thought, emotion, and dream that I now have...they've become the everything to me, along with Chad... and it seems that just as the axis of the earth, my world really does revolve around them.  I lovingly have started to refer to them as twiddlebugs from the book, Sleep Tight,  a Sesame Street book where there are little twiddlebugs who Elmo says good night to.  For some reason, once Kaelyn was born...it just stuck :)  

I hope that this blog serves as a place that I can express my thoughts, feelings, and reflections of our cozy little life as a new family of four.  I hope that Hunter and Kaelyn can someday read the blog and know more about who I am as their Mom and have a fun way to reflect back on their lives.  Of course, I also want to be able to share more of our life with my friends and family and I'm crossing my fingers that we can get a really great new camera to take some great pics to post too.  I am new to the blogosphere and I certainly know that I'm novice at best...but that's okay...I'm excited to give this a try :)
